Private Coaching with Katy: Terms of Purchase

 

I am thrilled you’re planning to enrol in my Private Coaching!  Today you are paying a non-refundable deposit, which secures your place to work 1:1 with me. Once we have received your deposit payment we will be in touch to arrange the date of your first coaching session, which will also be the start date for the coaching package you are purchasing. Once we have agreed a start date we will prepare the contract between us, the terms of which are set out below. Please read the terms below and if you have any questions once you’ve finished please do not hesitate to get in touch - we will be happy to answer any questions.

The terms and conditions set out below apply to your enrolment in the services, “Private Coaching with Katy” offered by Design & Align Ltd. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which we provide services to you, as purchaser of this coaching program. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound to and which cannot be waived.


Private Coaching with Katy

Private Coaching with Katy is bespoke 1:1 coaching to support you with the strategies and mindset required to grow and/or scale your interior design business.  Depending on your specific needs and goals, this will likely include some or all of the following -

  • Defining your vision for the business;
  • Gaining clarity on your business model and the interior design services you provide;
  • Your ideal client and how to connect with them through your marketing;
  • Sales psychology and how to lead a powerful conversion process;
  • Forecasting income and expenses; 
  • Pricing your services; 
  • Implementing systems and automations that help the business to run more efficiently;
  • Hiring and managing people; 
  • Becoming an empowered leader;
  • Unpacking limiting beliefs and gaining confidence.


Katy Stevenson Bretton is experienced in providing coaching services as an Accredited Coach (Association for Coaching), a Certified NLP Practitioner (Association for Integrative Psychotherapy), and an experienced business owner and interior design professional.  

The coaching advice and guidance which is provided by Katy will be based on the information communicated by you, therefore the effectiveness of the Services and the results you get depend on you being open and honest in all communications. 

During your time working together, Katy will provide feedback on your business financials, marketing, sales and hiring materials (as appropriate) and access to business resources that it is considered will support you.

Following your successful purchase of the Services (either by pay-in-full or the first instalment of your payment plan) you will be able to login to our training portal, Kajabi, where you will have access to our signature program, Aligned For Growth. There are 6 modules in total, which you can work through in your own time.  We encourage you to set aside time to watch the modules and allow time for reflection as the content will greatly enhance the work you are doing with Katy.

For the duration of your time working with Katy, you will be invited to join Aligned For Growth group coaching calls and participate in the Aligned For Growth online forum. 

Please be aware that all of our services are delivered entirely in English and no translations are provided for videos or text.

Limitations and Exclusions of Liability

We are not liable to you in respect of any loss or damage which may arise as a result of you purchasing our coaching services. You should use your best judgement in using the information provided throughout the services. You assume responsibility for your actions, choices, or lack thereof, related to the services. It is your individual responsibility to apply what is shared, taught and discussed to your personal circumstances both during the term of the coaching and afterwards. Each individual is unique and their starting position and commitment to the coaching services is unique to them. We cannot guarantee results or outcomes of any kind or over any period.

In marketing our services we may share testimonials or results achieved by other clients. Such testimonials are not an inducement and do not act as a guarantee that you will achieve similar results. Failure to take action based on the coaching provided will significantly limit any results.

From time to time, during the provision of the coaching services, Katy may make recommendations for additional professional support from third parties. We shall not be responsible for the provision of any services by any third parties and make no guarantee in respect of any recommendations.  

Katy is reliant on you providing open and honest disclosure of your circumstances. We are not liable to you in respect of any situation where you have not provided full disclosure and information. 

We are not liable to you for any delay or failure to perform our obligations if the delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our coaching services should not be construed as medical, financial, people operations or legal advice and you should seek input from qualified professionals in these specialisms. 

Please be aware that all of our services are delivered entirely in English and no translations are provided for videos or text.

Holiday / Sickness / Time Away

We understand that you may have holiday or other planned time away at some point during your coaching with Katy. As a private client we offer the opportunity to ‘pause’ your coaching once during your time with Katy up to a period of 4 weeks (for example holiday, surgery, wedding etc.)  We ask that you provide a minimum of two weeks notice for planned time away.  Choosing to ‘pause’ your coaching means that you will not be doing any calls with Katy during the pause and you understand that you will not have access to Katy via Voxer or email for the duration of the pause.  Any paused time will be added on to the end of your official coaching period. We will advise you of your revised end date by email.

Payment Terms

The cost of the coaching is as published on our website (https://www.design-align.com/private-coaching-with-katy) and will vary depending on whether you are selecting the 3, 6 or 9 month package. The cost of the coaching can be paid in full upfront (includes a 10% discount), or by monthly instalments.  Payment in full or the first monthly instalment payment is due one month prior to the commencement date.  Charges (including holding deposits) are non-refundable under any circumstances. In the event you must withdraw from the coaching for any reason whatsoever, you remain fully responsible for any unpaid balance. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge your obligation to pay the cost of the coaching whether you participate fully in the services or not. No discounts or partial refunds are given for missing calls, not using Voxer, or not completing, using, or participating in trainings or other Coaching Materials provided - the Charges remain the same whether you participate fully or not.

Should you require any technical support in respect of booking in coaching sessions with Katy, accessing any of the coaching materials or administrative assistance of any kind please email [email protected] and we will be happy to help you. 


Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy and protection of your personal data is important to us. We will keep your personal data confidential and will never share it with unconnected third parties. Your payment information will be processed by a secure third-party processor. We will be provided with your email address and name but never be provided with your financial information. 

During the course of the coaching, Katy will have access to confidential information that you supply. This information will not be used or disclosed to any person, organisation or company during the term of the coaching services, or any time after. Katy may share details of the coaching sessions with her own coach or mentor but no identifiable information will be disclosed and Katy’s own coach or mentor shall at all times be bound by client confidentiality and professional restrictions not to disclose details. 

Katy will not share that she has a working relationship with you. Any sharing on social media or in our marketing activities will be limited to non-identifiable information, messages and testimonials written by you and/or re-posting any posts by you which directly refer to the coaching you are undertaking and/or using testimonials with permission. 

Please be aware that, should you choose to attend any of the Aligned For Growth group coaching sessions that are available to you as part of the Private Coaching services, these will be recorded and your name and image/video may be captured. The recordings of these sessions will be kept and made available to others on the program. If you provide or share any information within these sessions about yourself or your business that information will be shared within the group. Should you not wish to be recorded please ensure that if you attend any training your camera is switched off and your name field is changed to “Attendee” with your initial so that support can still be offered but no personal identifiable information will be captured. 

You agree not to provide or share any confidential or sensitive information about other Aligned For Growth participants or their businesses that you become aware of during group coaching sessions, via the online group forum, or otherwise as part of your participation in this program.

Intellectual Property 

Please be advised that we reserve all rights to our intellectual property for all of our services including but not limited to video recordings, training modules, supporting PDF documents, other supporting resources (with the exception of links to external content provided by third parties), voice memos, text messages, and live calls. This means that whilst you are free to watch, listen, read or use the download digitally or print out a copy for personal use you are not permitted to copy, distribute, adapt, edit or share any of our products with third parties. You may not share your password or login information with anyone. If you share your password or login with anyone who did not purchase the services or product, your access will be removed immediately and no refund will be issued. Any violations of our intellectual property rights will be legally pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.


Feedback and Complaints

If you have any feedback about our services please do share it with us. It is always great to receive words of praise and also helpful to get constructive comments. We really hope that you love working with Katy as much as many others before you have, but should you be unhappy with any aspect of the services please email us, placing ‘Complaint’ in the subject field and send your email to [email protected]

We agree to look into your complaint carefully and promptly and take reasonable steps to resolve it.

You agree to not publicly or privately make any comments that denigrate our services, Design & Align Ltd, or Katy Stevenson Bretton, including on social media. This restriction does not apply to any comments required by mediation or law.
